Dear DB Families,

I'm sending this letter to you as a plea for your help in ensuring the safety of all our students and staff.  Please abide by the following guidelines to ensure good traffic flow and safety for all:

  • CURB LANE (in front of office) is for unattended car drop offs – you may get out of the car
  • MIDDLE LANE is for attended car drop offs – you may NOT get out of the car
  • OUTSIDE LANE is for passing through only - NO drop-offs and NO stopping from this lane.
  • Please leave the house a few minutes earlier so you’re not rushed, and your child is on time to class. Plan on getting to school by or before 8:30
  • Drive SLOWLY at all times:  5 mph or less
  • PULL OVER TO THE SIDE and all the way forward before dropping off your child
  • Have your child cross ONLY IN THE CROSSWALK
  • Do NOT stop or park in the fire lane on Willow Lake Road
  • Red curb lanes are fire lanes and must be kept clear at all times

I have been in contact with the sheriff's office, as well as the CHP, and they have promised to be here as much as they can to help enforce the law and keep our students safe.

Many thanks, in advance, for working together with me to ensure the safety of all of our students and staff.
